PATROL |
The Sheriff's Deputies assigned to the patrol division are the backbone to the departments public service and enforcement efforts. A patrol deputy is usually the first and sometimes the only person you will encounter from this department. Patrol Deputies perform a variety of tasks during a normal shift including: - Provide assitance to the general public - Answer calls for service - File initial reports from incidents - Conduct preliminary investigations - Provide emergency response to critical incidents - Patrol outlying area's - Serve Court Documents (Process Service) - Traffic Enforcement - Assist other agencies as needed - and more.... ALL patrol deputies are trained and qualified to the highest standards at one of the state academies, after which, they receive specialized training in various area's of law Enforcement.
